Voices of Mass Dissent 2002–2004

Asa is currently working on a photo book, which will show a collection of her photographs of nationwide protests in a post 911 US, from early 2002 to 2004. The book will include shots of major protests in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington DC, New York City and covers demonstrations against the war in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq, the occupation in Iraq, and the week-long protests in NYC during the RNC. To be published in 2005.

Art Show in Boston—April 2004

Asa was invited by IAAB [Iranian Alliances Across Borders] as one of the three artists to show her work in the First Annual International Conference of the Iranian Diaspora at Wellesley, Boston.

Imagining Ourselves: Global Voices from a New Generation of Women

This project is an art book/coffee-table anthology published by IMOW, International Museum of Women in San Francisco. Asa is one of the women artists, whose work has been chosen to be included in this Anthology. It is scheduled to be released in fall 2005. The Imagining Ourselves project will also include a large international multimedia educational campaign.
